Platform overview
What SupaTalker is, which features each kind of visitor can use, and what each area of the admin is for
SupaTalker is an AI customer support system. Visitors send messages from LINE, Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct messages, or a chat window embedded on your website, and the AI answers based on the knowledge base and skills you prepare. In the admin you set up that content, review every conversation, and keep track of usage.
The admin has five areas
- Operations — conversations, visitors and usage
- AI skills & testing — what the AI can answer and do, and a place to try it out in the admin
- Industry content — depends on the site's industry; for a store site, it is products, orders, support requests and store settings
- Channels — connect the AI to LINE, Messenger, Instagram and your website
- Security & settings — security rules, site-wide settings, admin accounts, and cleaning up and backing up data
If this is your first time, start with Sign-in & password. If you come across an unfamiliar term, see the Glossary.
What each kind of visitor can use
Where a visitor comes in from, and whether they are signed in, decides how much they can use:
| Visitor | Comes in from | Can use |
|---|---|---|
| Anonymous website visitor | The chat window on your website, not signed in | The knowledge base only, no other skills |
| Member | The chat window opened after signing in as a member on your website | Chats as a member; available skills depend on each skill's settings |
| LINE, Messenger and Instagram visitors | Each social channel | Available skills depend on each skill's settings |
Sites using a related industry template also have an OTA channel: it works with a PMS (property management system) to receive messages from booking platforms such as Airbnb and Booking.com.
Skills can be limited to certain visitors
Each skill has a Channel restriction (which channels it is open to: members, LINE, Messenger, Instagram, OTA and so on) and a Minimum authentication level. Anonymous website visitors only ever get the knowledge base.
Whether anonymous visitors can use the chat window on your website is set by "Web anonymous chat channel" in Settings. For how to connect the chat window for signed-in members, see Host sites.

Conversations
The full content of every conversation, with the AI's replies and ratings
Visitors / memory
Each visitor's details, conversations and orders, and the facts the AI remembers about them
Image management

Your current plan and billing cycle, resource usage this period, and the total limits for the knowledge base, products and more
AI skills & testing
Skills
What the AI can handle; skills, data sources and MCP connectors are read-only, but you can change whether they are enabled and which channels they apply to
Knowledge base
The site's frequently asked questions and answers, the main source the AI answers from; external AI tools can also manage it over MCP
Chat test
Chat with the AI directly in the admin; these conversations are marked as test data and are not counted on the dashboard
MCP API keys
Keys issued to external AI tools so they can connect and manage the knowledge base
Industry content
The items in this area depend on the site's industry. The items below are for a store site.
Products
The products the store sells; listed products are also what the AI answers product questions from
Store orders
Orders customers place on the store page: review them, update their status and notify the customer
Support requests
Support questions from members; reply, change the status and notify the member by email here
Payments & Shipping
The payment and shipping methods customers can choose at checkout
Store settings
The store page's content, appearance and ordering rules, and the rule keywords that open the store; customers see changes only after you publish
Channels
Channels
Connect the AI to Facebook Messenger, Instagram direct messages and LINE, and set up the persistent menu for Messenger and Instagram chats
LINE rich menus
The rich menu at the bottom of your LINE Official Account chat
LINE broadcast
Broadcast text, images or cards to visitors who have chatted with you on LINE
Host sites
Register which websites can embed the chat widget: anonymous embedding, or member-authenticated embedding where your website's backend issues an entry ticket. "Preview embed site" at the top right opens a test page where you try the widget as an anonymous visitor; you need to turn on "Web anonymous chat channel" in Settings before you can chat there
Security & settings
Security
Set detection rules for messages and behavior, review blocked events, and manage the blocklist
Settings
The AI's role and tone, the chat widget's appearance, the chat service switch and automatic reply copy, anonymous visitors and voice input
Admin accounts
Create admin accounts, the difference between the two roles, handling passwords, and disabling accounts
Cleanup & backup
Find old data that can be cleaned up and download a backup before deleting it; you can also download everything as CSV
